Aaminah Haq (also variously spelled Aamina Haq and Amna Haq) is a Pakistani Model and actress more famous as a Lux model and for her role in the television drama Mehndi.
Family
Aaminah Haq is the daughter of Sherzade (also known as "Sherry" Nilofar Haq), the fifth wife of Mustafa Khar.
Personal life
In mid-2008, the actress-model finally became engaged to Ammar Belal, a model and fashion designer; the two had been good friends for quite a while by then. The two were married in 2009.

Over the years, Haq has acted in a number of Urdu dramas. Her serials such as Chaandni Raatain and Ghulam Gardish have been well received.
Mehndi
Haq's magnum opus in drama is considered to be Mehndi : The Coours of Emotions, a star-studded drama which instantaneously shot her to new heights of fame. The drama became popular not only for its well-written storyline, but also for the acting by various actors. Haq's acting, in particular, won fantastic reviews from critics. She also hosted three seasons of Lux Style ki Duniya, and hosted a chat show for Aag tv, called the "Aaminah Haq Show".

As a Model
Pakistani photographers Arshad Tareen, Athar Shahzad and Tapu Javeri have deemed her the most photogenic model and a pleasure to work with. Standing at 5'7" she has also cat walked for a coterie of designers including HSY.
She has also been selected as a Brand Ambassador for Levi's Jeans and is the Ambassador for Depilex's 'Smile Again Foundation,' a charity that helps female acid burn victims.
Lux,Sunsilk, Clear,Telenor in the past. Haq has done a few international commercials, notably in Canada and was interviewed by 'French Vogue'. She has also been a centerfold for French Vogue. Haq was also on the panel of judges for the International Model Pageant. She is the only model who has been a Lux Girl for the past 8 years

Haq has modelled for a large number of magazines, including She, Libas, Visage, Women's Own, Fashion Collection and Newsline She also become an over night icon for her "GirlFriday" coloum that she wrote for several years. Which was followed by a string of articles she wrote for several publications.In 2009 she joined the Buksh Group as the Editor in Chief for their in house punlication to be released later this year.
